Annual Meeting — October 13th —
Please Plan to Attend !!
The 2014Annual Meeting for the Pine Island Ridge Community Association will be held on Monday, October 13th. The meeting will be held at Hyles Anderson College on Burr Street at 6:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served, and we must have a quorum in order to cover the items on the agenda, as well as the new budget. A copy of the new budget can be found on page 2. Please note that the Board is very conscious of its fiscal responsibility, and there has been no proposed increase to the budget for 2015. We look forward to seeing you on the 13th . (If you cannot attend, please fill out the proxy found on page 3 and return it to the address denoted on this proxy).
Kids Patriotic Parade
Thank you to all the kids and parents who participated in this fun celebration on June 14th! A special thank you to the event coordinator and PIRCA Board member, Cheri Aleksic, for getting such great prizes and putting in so much time to make sure this was a fun event. Many thanks to the Schererville Police and Fire departments for their time. Also, thank you to our sponsors for their generous donations: Culvers and Dairy Queen.
National Night Out – America’s Night Out Against Crime
The Schererville Police Department is hosting the 10th Annual National Night Out Campaign, Tuesday, August 5, 2014, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Redar Park. This event is designed to generate public support and participation for Law Enforcement and Anti-Crime Programs. Leave your porch light on and come out for some music, games, food and fun. CELEBRATE AMERICA’S NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME !!

In order to avoid a special assessment to homeowners, it is necessary to continue to fund the Creek Erosion Restoration line item for the purpose of rebuilding the maintenance reserves to cover any future repair of the creek or the three (3) detention ponds.
