Q: How much are the annual dues?
A: Annual dues are set by the Association and are communicated to residents before the start of each calendar year. Dues help maintain parks, lakes, green spaces, and community services.

Q: How can I pay my dues?
A: Dues may be paid by check or electronically through the Association’s designated payment portal. Contact the office for details.

Q: Who can use the community parks and playgrounds?
A: Pine Island Ridge parks and playgrounds are private and for the use of residents and their guests only.

Q: Is fishing allowed in the lakes and ponds?
A: Yes, recreational fishing is allowed for residents ONLY. 

Q: How is trash and recycling handled?
A: Trash and recycling collection is provided by the Town of Schererville via contracted service on designated pickup days. Large-item pickup may require prior scheduling.  Refuse may be placed out no more than 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup.

Q: Does the Association handle snow removal?
A: No, street snow removal is handled by the Town of Schererville's public works department.  Residents are responsible for the removal of snow from their own driveways and right-of-way sidewalks.

Q: How can I volunteer for community events?
A: Residents can volunteer through the “Get Involved” section of our website or by contacting the Association office directly.

Q: How do I join a committee?
A: Committee membership is open to all residents. Contact the Association to learn which committees currently need volunteers.
