MONTHLY BOARD MEETING

JUNE 16,2025

ATTENDANCE: Yolla Blair, Joshua Lawrence, Shawn Taber and Jim Onik.

NO TOWN VISITORS

MONTHLY BOARD MINUTES FROM MAY 19,2025

  • Mr. Taber made a motion to accept the minutes, and Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

TREASURERS REPORT FOR JUNE 2025

  • The following bills have been paid: NIPSCO $232.88, Google $7.20, Austgen, Kuiper $150.00, Cincinnati Insurance $4,620.00, USPS $226.00 (P.O. Box) and Beary Landscape $6,975.00 (May and June).
  • The board is waiting to pay April’s invoice from Suburban Landscaping.
  • Mr. Lawrence will resubmit the invoice for the website.
  • Mr. Taber made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report and Mrs. Blair seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.

PONDS

  • Mr. Onik has called about the weeds growing in the riprap around the ponds and they will be taken care of.
  • Approval was given to restock the ponds with fish, but an invoice has not been received.
  • An unknown individual dumped raw meat into Twin Lakes pond and it has been removed.

COMMON AREAS AND LANDSCAPING

  • A bench in the south playground area has been damaged. We will try to repair it and if not possible then remove it.
  • Mr. Taber inquired about revamping the playground area by adding equipment for smaller children and possibly adding a pavilion. Considering placing heavy rubber mats under the swings to prevent erosion underneath them.

COMPLIANCE

  • No new issues.

COMMUNICATIONS

  • The PIRCA website is being updated, which will now be able to provide more information and be secure. Mr. Onik reported that he has been able to access the site on all browsers.
  • Our Facebook page is more for providing social information within the subdivision and the website site is to provide information on our subdivision to individuals living outside of our community.

ARC

  • No new information.

OLD BUSINESS

  • Batteries to be replaced at the fountains. The fountain at Twin lakes pond is running but the lights are out.
  • The outstanding invoice from Yellowstone for April 2024 has gone to collections. Mr. Onik will speak to our attorney about negotiating a settlement to pay half the cost of the bill.

NEW BUSINESS

  • Mr. Lawrence will be contacting the property management company to see if there is anything else they need prior to starting. Tentative start date is July 1st.
  • Mr. Taber stated he would do some research on playground equipment and investigate other towns or daycare centers that are getting rid of their equipment with the possibility of purchasing it.

  • Mrs. Blair made a motion to adjourn, and Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:47pm
  • The next monthly board meeting is July 21, 2025- 7:00pm at Rosati’s.
